The VERB 510 and 710 use the same compact flip-battery platform. The 510 package is built for compatible oil cartridges. The 710 package adds the tank, coil, silicone storage, and tool needed for concentrates while keeping 510-cart compatibility.

What the VERB 510 and 710 share
According to RYOT's official VERB 510 specifications and VERB 710 specifications, both are built around the same pocketable flip housing.
Shared electrical specs
- 650mAh battery capacity
- Low 3.0V output
- Medium 3.4V output
- High 3.8V output
- Resistance above 0.8 ohms
Shared physical specs
- 82mm by 40mm by 16mm
- Durable plastic shell
- Short and medium magnetic adapters
- Up to 65mm cartridge height
- Up to 11.8mm cartridge diameter
The flip lid protects the cartridge or tank inside a familiar pocket-size shape. Three power levels let you start low and adjust within the range supported by the attached cartridge or tank. Both official listings also state a limited one-year warranty.
Shared specifications do not make every attachment compatible. Use cartridges and coils that fall within RYOT's size and resistance guidance, and follow the cartridge or concentrate maker's instructions. If an attachment is damaged, leaking, unusually hot, or difficult to seat, stop using it.
What is the difference between VERB 510 and 710?
VERB 510 is the cartridge package
The VERB 510 includes the flip battery, short and medium magnetic adapters, and a charging cable. It does not include an oil cartridge. This is the simpler package for a shopper who already buys compatible 510-threaded cartridges and wants a discreet battery with a closing lid.
At OSV, the 510 also has the broader current color selection. Black, Green, Night Sky, Tan, and Tye Dye were available when reviewed. Black Gold was out of stock.
VERB 710 adds the concentrate system
The VERB 710 includes the flip vaporizer, a refillable concentrate tank and coil, a removable silicone storage container, and a removable dab tool. Those added parts account for the $8 price difference at OSV. The base battery remains compatible with suitable 510 cartridges, so the 710 is not concentrates-only.
RYOT lists USB-C with the 710 and Micro USB with the 510. That cable distinction matters if you are trying to reduce the number of chargers in your travel kit. Use a 5V charging source as RYOT specifies and do not charge a damaged or wet device.
What does 710 mean here?
In this product line, 710 identifies the concentrate-ready package. It does not mean the battery uses a different 710-thread connection. The included wax tank itself uses 510 threading and is designed for the RYOT 510 vaporizer battery platform.
Cartridge, tank, and conversion-kit compatibility
RYOT says the VERB 510 works with 510-threaded cartridges no larger than 11.8mm in diameter and up to 65mm in total height. Longer cartridges may prevent the lid from closing. It lists the medium magnetic adapter for 0.5ml tanks and the short adapter for most 1ml tanks.
The VERB 710 includes those same two magnetic adapters, so you can remove the concentrate tank and use a compatible oil cartridge. The reverse path is also available: RYOT sells a 710 Wax Tank Conversion Kit for the VERB 510. It contains the refillable tank, silicone storage, and dab tool that create the concentrate configuration.
Replacement coils are consumable parts. Never dry-fire a coil, overfill the tank, or scrape a hot coil. Follow the current RYOT instructions for loading, heating, cleaning, and replacement.
Which RYOT VERB kit should you buy?
Choose VERB 510 if:
- You use compatible prefilled cartridges only.
- You want the lowest initial price.
- You prefer the wider current color selection.
- You do not want to clean a refillable concentrate tank.
- You may add the conversion kit later.
Choose VERB 710 if:
- You use both cartridges and loadable concentrates.
- You want the complete tank, tool, and storage set.
- You prefer USB-C over Micro USB.
- You want everything matched in one package.
- The available Black Gold color works for you.
If neither format matches your routine, compare the broader vaporizer collection or browse dab rigs and concentrate tools.

RYOT VERB 510 vs 710 FAQ
